VARAC Vintage Grand Prix at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park. June 15-18, 2017
I am posting this gallery in March of 2020, during the Corona virus pandemic. Right now we don't know exactly when, or how, this is all going to pan out. Social distancing has become the new norm. Anyway, in 2017 Gladiator Road Racing has become a thing, but for the foreseeable future. a one car thing. Shane and I have decided that the Zink has enough issues to necessitate a complete rebuild. It would take two years. So, for the VARAC Vintage GP, we decided to share the Kelly. Six track sessions over three days would give us both a reasonable amount of track time. I would run the two races counting toward the VARAC club championship, because for 2017 I had quietly decided to compete for the cup. The VARAC championship is more about participation and reliability and less about outright speed. Considering I'm usually the only car in my class, the odds looked pretty good. As for the pictures in this gallery, most are mine, but Shane's images fill in the gaps. Cheers, Peter.
