40th Anniversary of VARAC's First Vintage Festival. At Shannonville Motorsport Park. August 17,2019

To celebrate the 40th anniversary of its first ever "Vintage Festival" (now known as the VARAC Vintage Grand Prix), VARAC rented Shannonville Motorsport Park for a one day, members only, blowout. The event was offered at a superb discount price and attracted over 70 entrees. Three race groups; Vintage/Historic, Classic and Monoposto. Four times on the track; practice/qualifying and three races. Gladiator Road Racing borrowed an open trailer from Ted Michalos (thanks Ted) and took its full compliment of race cars. An event that compact, and two race cars which were very fussy, didn't leave any opportunity for yours truly to operate the camera. So, thanks to Dale and Katy Viccary for taking over, and providing these excellent images. There is a slight Gladiator Road Racing bias. Can't imagine why.

You finish 3 races, you get to hold a trophy for a minute. That's Ted, temporarily presenting me with a trophy for winning FC5. So what if I was the only entrant
